On the 22nd of November, an initial group gathered on the Royal Roads campus to build relationality between ourselves, the land, and kin species. Our time together consisted of time in the forest presencing the land and kin species (what our place is telling us), circle introductions of the meaning of our names, a fishbowl responding to “how might I/we be together in this community,” an unhoused reflection exercise, and a discussion about our work to do as a group.
This workshop is a collaboration between Solvable and the Royal Roads University Resilience by Design (RbD) Lab and the Transition Bridges Project, with additional support from the UVic Faculty of Education.
